Wizards guard Antonio Daniels sprains ankle during team practice

Washington Wizards guard Antonio Daniels sprained his left ankle during practice Thursday and was listed as day-to-day.

Daniels, pencilled in as one of the first players on Washington's bench, led the team with 13 points during an 87-86 pre-season loss to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

He averaged 9.6 points and 3.6 assists last season, his first with the Wizards.

Washington's next exhibition game is Saturday at Cleveland, the team that eliminated the Wizards from the playoffs in the first round last season.
