The Philadelphia 76ers rallied from a 22-point deficit in the third quarter and Rodney Carney hit a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left to beat the Phoenix Suns 103-100, advancing to the final game of a four-team exhibition mini-tournament in Europe.

Rick Brunson, who did not play in the first three quarters, assisted Carney's shot, grabbed a rebound and made one of two free throws to secure the victory for the 76ers, who improved to 1-1 in pre-season play following a loss to Barcelona.

Shawn Marion led the Suns with 25, Barbosa had 20, Steve Nash had 15 points and 9 assists, while Boris Diaw added 10 points and 12 rebounds, plus eight assists.

With the Suns up 100-99, Brunson passed the ball to Carney, who sank the 3-pointer.

``For me, to win an NBA game like that, it's crazy,'' said Carney, who finished 14 points.

Philadelphia coach Maurice Cheeks said it took ``huge guts'' for the rookie to attempt that shot.

``We believed in him even though we didn't think he would take that three,'' Cheeks said.

Kyle Korver finished with 20 points for the Sixers, including eight in the final quarter.

Following Carney's 3-pointer and a time-out, Leandro Barbosa then missed a 3-point attempt for the Suns. Brunson grabbed the rebound, drew a foul and made one of the two free throws with less than a second left.

On the final possession, Raja Bell passed to Barbosa but his off-balance shot missed.

The 76ers played the fourth quarter without Allen Iverson and Chris Webber, but held the Suns to 11 points in the final period.

Iverson finished with 29 points, Webber had 17 and Andre Igoudala had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Iverson had 18 of his team's 28 points in the first quarter.

The Suns dropped to 1-1 in pre-season play after beating Lottomatica Roma 100-93.

On Wednesday, the 76ers play CSKA Moscow, which defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 90-81 earlier in the day. The Suns will play Tel Aviv for third place in the four-team tournament.
