Dajuan Wagner scored 18 points to lead
seven Golden State players in double figures and the Warriors rolled
to a 120-66 pre-season victory over Efes Pilsen of Turkey on
Thursday night.
Troy Murphy added 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Warriors in
their exhibition opener.
Kerem Gonlum scored 21 points for Efes Pilsen, while Marcus
Haislip, who played at Tennessee, added 13 points and nine rebounds.
Golden State, which has missed the playoffs since 1994, led by
eight points after the first quarter, then went on a 19-3 run in
outscoring Efes Pilsen 29-9 in the second period.
Efes Pilsen, the first Turkish team to be invited to play against
NBA teams, was held scoreless in the third quarter for over 4{
minutes until Haislip made two free throws.
Efes Pilsen lost 118-102 at Denver on Tuesday night.
