OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) _ The Golden State Warriors signed Troy
Hudson on Monday, adding a veteran free-agent guard to their young
roster.
Hudson played 34 games last year in his fifth season with the
Minnesota Timberwolves, who paid more than US$12 million to buy out
his contract Aug. 3. He struggled with ankle injuries for nearly
three years in Minnesota before getting stuck behind Mike James and
Randy Foye on the bench last year.

The Golden State Warriors reached a
10-year agreement Friday to sell the naming rights to their arena to
Oracle Corp., the large San Francisco Bay Area software maker.
The Arena at Oakland will be renamed the Oracle under the
undisclosed financial terms of the deal, which also includes
elements of team sponsorship.
The Warriors have attempted to sell naming rights to their arena
for several years, but repeatedly failed to find a suitable buyer.

State Warriors' next two pre-season games after breaking his nose in
a game against Portland.
Murphy was hurt in the fourth quarter of Golden State's overtime
victory Tuesday night when Zach Randolph's forearm hit him in the
