La La Vasquez, Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony expecting a child

La La Vasquez, a VJ at MTV, and her fiance, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, are expecting a baby in March, her representative, Jack Ketsoyan, confirmed to The Associated Press on Monday.

The baby will be their first child together, Ketsoyan said. The couple have been engaged since 2004 and plan to marry after the baby's birth, he said.

Vasquez, 27, is a VJ for MTV shows ``Total Request Live,'' ``Spring Breakdown'' and ``Direct Effect.'' Anthony, 22, plays for the Denver Nuggets.
