Ben Wallace surprised the Chicago Bulls by going from uncomfortable Friday morning to ready to test his bruised knee that night against the Seattle SuperSonics.
The head of Miami's Udonis Haslem hit Wallace's left knee late in last Saturday's win. The centre and rebounding force missed the opener to Chicago's seven-game trip Wednesday at the Los Angeles Clippers. Then at the Bulls' shootaround Friday morning, he told trainer Fred Tedeschi ...

Now that the Bulls put all that silliness behind them and made Ben Wallace take off the headband, it's time they faced up to the real problem.
That would be the one between his ears.
We already know what Wallace can do when he's happy. He proved that again Tuesday night against New York, providing a little grit and a lot of energy as the Bulls completed a home-and-home sweep ...

Chicago coach Scott Skiles was ejected early in
the third quarter of a game against the New York Knicks on Saturday
night, even though the Bulls led by 23 points at the time.
Skiles was charged with his first technical for arguing a foul on
Knicks rookie Renaldo Balkman. Steve Francis then hit the free
throw, but Skiles continued his argument and was immediately thrown
out of the game with the Bulls leading the Knicks 58-35.

Kevin Garnett had 17 points and had nine rebounds
to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to an 85-83 pre-season victory
over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.

sparked an 11-1 run late in the third quarter. Garnett scored seven

Ben Gordon scored 19 points in 21 minutes to
lead the Chicago Bulls to a 99-67 pre-season victory over the San
Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.
Although the new-look Bulls (4-0) used eight players who were not
with the team last season, Gordon and the other holdovers led the
way.
Gordon was 7-of-12 from the field, including making five of his
first six shots. Kirk Hinrich scored 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting
and had five assists in 19 ...

Martynas Andriuskevicius scored all of his
11 points in the final 3:36 Monday night, and the Chicago Bulls
remained undefeated in pre-season play with an 87-78 victory over
the Memphis Grizzlies.
Andriuskevicius, the seven-foot-two second-year player from
Lithuania, played only nine minutes, all in the fourth period, but
took control down the stretch as Memphis tried to pull even.
Tyrus Thomas, the rookie from LSU, led the Bulls (3-0) with 12
points, while Luol Deng and Malik Allen ...

Ben Wallace took a quick glance at his new uniform and smiled. The new threads fit perfectly and the colours worked, too.
``It's a little different, but I will say I look good in red and white,'' he said.
The Chicago Bulls think so, too.
Wallace is in. Tyson Chandler is out. And the revised Bulls hope to build on last season's playoff appearance, their second straight.
Expectations haven't been ...

Bulls officials said charges of misdemeanour battery and driving within a parkway were dropped against Barry Anderson, the Benny the Bull mascot. Police said Anderson, in his bright red bull costume, threw a punch at a sheriff's deputy on July 2, ...

CHICAGO (AP) _ Chicago Bulls general manager John Paxson and coach Scott Skiles were dressed down and casual when they went to Detroit earlier this month with a sales pitch for Ben Wallace.
They wanted to make Wallace feel comfortable and open his eyes before opening up the checkbook.
``We didn't go in there in tuxes or anything. We went in there in jeans,'' Paxson said. ``That's ...
